    Before Using for the first time Using the button, set the current time. After approx. 5 seconds, the clock stops flashing and the clock displays the time of day set. The appliance is now ready to use. Cleaning for the first time Before you use the appliance for the first time, you should clean it thoroughly.

    Using the Oven 2. Press the button repeatedly until the desired oven function appears. • A suggested temperature appears in the tem- perature display. • If the suggested temperature is not changed within approx. 5 seconds, the oven starts to heat up.

    Using the Oven Switching the oven off Switch off the appliance using the On/Off button. Cooling fan The fan switches on automatically in order to keep the appliance’s surfaces cool. When the oven is switched off, the fan continues to run to cool the appliance down, then switches itself off automatically.

    Using the Oven Rapid heat up After an oven function is selected, with the use of the additional function Rapid heat up the empty oven can be pre-heated in a relatively short time. Important: Do not put the food to be cooked into the oven, until Rapid heat up is completed and the oven is operating using the desired function.

    Using the Oven Inserting accessories Inside the oven carriage door there are five levels to insert accessories. Inserting the side rails Take the rack (1) and slide it into the oven level you want. Push the rack down (2) until it clicks into place.

    Using the Oven Grilling set The grilling set includes the support shelf and the drip pan. The support shelf can be used on either side. Warning: Risk of burning when removing the drip pan from a hot oven. Put the support shelf all the way in The support shelf sits in the grease tray.

    Using the Oven Meatprobe For switching off the oven when the temperature at the centre of a roast reaches a set temperature. There are two temperatures to consider:: – The oven temperature: see Roasting Table – The core temperature: see Meatprobe Table Important: Only the meat probe supplied may be used.

Press any key to switch off the signal. Within a few minutes, a provisional end time is calculated, at which the core tempera- ture set will be reached.

  • Page 18 Using the Oven Cleaning Reminder The Cleaning Reminder detects when pyrolytic cleaning is required and alerts the user to this fact. How to use the clock functions • After a clock function has been selected, the corresponding function light flashes for about 5 seconds.
