    OPERATION REMOTE POWER CONTROL The power control turns the unit on and off. CONTROL MODE CONTROL The mode control has 4 settings: • Cool • Dehumidifiy • Fan • Auto The settings are adjustabed by the Mode Control button. COOLING MODE During the cooling mode, the air is cooled and hot air is exhausted outside through the exhaust tube.

    OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (cont’d) AUTO TIMER The AUTO-TIMER feature offers a unique selection of multiple choice, fully automatic on and/or off (start/stop) programs between 1-24 hrs under any one mode of your Home Comfort unit. The programs are as follows: a) Auto-Off: Pre-select a time that will turn off the unit automatically (between 1-24 hrs). b) Auto-On: Pre-select a time that will turn on the unit automatically (between 1-24 hrs).

    CARE AND MAINTENANCE CLEANING THE UNIT CAUTION: Before cleaning or servicing this unit, disconnect from any electrical supply outlets. 1) DO NOT use gasoline, benzene, thinner, or any other chemicals to clean this unit, as these substances may cause damage to the finish and deformation of plastic parts. 2) Never attempt to clean the unit by pouring water directly over any of the surface areas, as this will cause deterioration of electrical components and wiring insulation.
