BASIC OPERATIONS

TURNING THE POWER ON AND OFF

To turn on the power:
Press on the control panel or on the remote control.
To turn off the power:
Press on the control panel or on the remote control. The LCD TV shut down
behavior will depend on the enabled Power Mode setting. Go to page 51 for related
information.
NOTES:
• If you are not going to use the TV for a long time, be sure to disconnect the power cord
from the wall outlet and remove the batteries from the remote control.
• In standby mode, a small amount of electricity is still consumed even when the power is
turned off.
