Machine actions
The machine grinds the
coff ee beans but no coff ee
comes out.

pensing spout.

Frothed milk is too cold.
Causes
There is no water.
The brew group is dirty.
The circuit is not primed.
This might occur when the ma-
chine is automatically adjusting
the dose.
The dispensing spout is dirty.

the dose.
The coff ee grind is too fi ne.
The circuit is not primed.
The brew group is dirty.
The dispensing spout is clogged.
The Automatic Milk Frother is in-
serted too deep. No milk is being
suctioned.
The cups are cold.
Note:
* These problems can be considered normal if the coff ee blend has been
changed or if the machine has just been installed. In this case wait until the
machine performs a self-adjusting operation as described in the "Saeco
Adapting System" chapter.

Solutions
Fill the water tank and prime the
circuit (see "Using the Machine for
the First Time" chapter).
Clean the brew group (see "Weekly
Cleaning of the Brew Group" chap-
ter).
Prime the circuit (see "Using the
Machine for the First Time" chapter).
Brew a few cups of coff ee as
described in the "Saeco Adapting
System" chapter.
Clean the dispensing spout.
Brew a few cups of coff ee as
described in the "Saeco Adapting
System" chapter.
Change coff ee blend or adjust the
grind as explained in the "Adjusting
the Ceramic Coff ee Grinder" chapter.
Prime the circuit (see "Using the
Machine for the First Time" chapter).
Clean the brew group (see "Weekly
Cleaning of the Brew Group" chap-
ter).
Clean the dispensing spout and its
holes.
Leave the Automatic Milk Frother to
cool down. Move it slightly down-
wards. Reposition it in its correct
seat.
Preheat the cups with hot water.
