2 Getting Started
The Trine XL can provide positional data for navigation via a USB or Bluetooth
connection. The Trine XL can also be used for logging positional data for future use in
Google Earth, for Geo-Tagging Photos, or route management.
Both the USB and Bluetooth interfaces are connected via serial COM port.
2.1 Bluetooth Connection
To establish a Bluetooth connection with the hose device, please ensure the host
device has Bluetooth and it is enabled & ready for pairing.
Following is an example of establishing a Bluetooth connection on a Window's PC
environment.
1. Find the Bluetooth application program and double click on it to start the
program. The following is an example. Please see the documentation on
your host device for directions.
