Connections and Setup
8. Press the Sel/Save button to start recording. Speak within 6 inches away from the Mic
located under Speaker button.
9. Press Sel/Save again to stop recording.
10. The OGA is played automatically for your verification. It will then return to the OGA
REC menu to start over or to record another OGA.
Ring Delay
This feature allows you to set number of rings before the unit answers the incoming call.
1. Press the Menu button.
2. Use the 5 or 6 to scroll to ANSWERING SYS.
3. Press the Sel/Save button.
4. Use the 5 or 6 to scroll to RING DELAY.
5. Press the Sel/Save button.
6. Use the | or } to scroll to L1 or L2.
7. Then use 5 or 6 to scroll to the desired ring delay - 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 rings, TOLL SAVER.
For TOLL SAVER selection, the unit will answer on the 3rd ring if new voice messages
have been recorded or on the 5th ring if there are no new voice messages.
8. Press the Sel/Save button to save. To start over, press the Exit button to return to the
ANSWERING SYS menu.
Message Length
This is to limit the length of the incoming caller's message.
1. Press the Menu button.
2. Use the 5 or 6 to scroll to ANSWERING SYS.
3. Press the Sel/Save button.
4. Use the 5 or 6 to scroll to MESSAGE LENGTH.
5. Press the Sel/Save button.
6. Use the | or } to scroll to L1 or L2.
7. Then use 5 or 6 to scroll desired option - 1 MINUTE, 2 MINUTES or NO LIMIT.
8. Press the Sel/Save button to save. To start over, press the Exit button to return to the
ANSWERING SYS menu.
