If an invalid number is pressed, the valid number
nearest to this number is shown. This ensures that
selected frequency is within the allowed frequency
band. Please also note that valid frequencies are
also dependent on the frequency step size (see
"Selecting the Frequency Step Size" on
page 25). Only valid numbers are displayed.
(ii) Through The Selector Knob (2)
In MHz mode:
• Rotate the Selector Knob (2) to the desired fre-
quency.
(iii) Through Numeric Keypad (19) and Selector Knob
(2) combination
In MHz mode:
Enter the first few digits of the desired frequency
through the Numeric Keypad (19).
Press Toggle Light / Enter and Parameter Transfer
Button (4) to commit the partially entered fre-
quency.
Unentered digits are coerced to the nearest valid
frequency.
Rotate the Selector Knob (2) until the desired fre-
quency is displayed.
The frequency increments, or decrements, accord-
ing to the selected frequency step size .
