4.1.3 Operation
PROBLEM
•
The LED of the CS stays
Red ON during normal
operation.
•
"CLEAR SCAN DATA" is
displayed on the PS's
screen after turning on
the PS.
•
Cannot register the PS.
•
PS becomes out of
range.

Cannot make calls using
the PS.
•
Noise is frequent while
using the PS.
•
Conversations
disconnect while using
the PS.

"NO SERVICE" is
displayed on the PS's
screen.

The CS is not busy (i.e.,
the status of the LED is
not Moderate Green
Flashing), but calls
cannot be made or
received.

There is noise during a
phone call.

PROBABLE CAUSE

CS malfunction

SOLUTION
•
Replace the CS.
•
Clear the scan data (refer to "2.8.5 Site
Survey Using the KX-TCA255/
KX-TCA256/KX-TCA355/
KX-TD7590" or "2.10.5 Site Survey").
•
Enter the PIN set to the PBX into the PS.
•
Make sure that the cable is connected
properly with correct pin assignments. Also,
make sure that the cable does not make
short circuits.
•
Switch all DIP switches off.
•
Install the CSIF card properly.
•
Make sure that the cable is connected

Locate the CS properly (refer to "2.8.5 Site

PS to the appropriate system or automatic.
•
Locate the CS properly (refer to "2.8.5 Site

or "2.10.5 Site Survey").
•
Reduce the number of CSs in the area, or
increase the distance between CSs (refer
to "2.8.5 Site Survey Using the
KX-TCA255/KX-TCA256/KX-TCA355/
KX-TD7590", "2.9.5 Site Survey",
or "2.10.5 Site Survey").
