1. Five wires are connected to the fan (Fig. 1).
Black – this is the "hot" power to run fan.
Orange - this is the "hot" power to operate the uplight
Blue - this is the "hot" power to operate the down light (lightkit)
White – this is the "common" power to run fan and light.
Green – ground wire (on bracket, downrod, and outlet box).
2. Connections (Fig. 1):
Connect the black wire from the motor side of the receiver to the black wire of the fan.
Connect the white wire from the motor side of the receiver to the white wire on thee fan.
Connect the orange wire on the receiver to the orange wire on the fan.
Connect the blue wire on the receiver to the blue wire on the fan.
3. Connect the green ground wire from the outlet box to the downrod, and hanging bracket. (Fig. 1)
4. Carefully insert the receiver into the hanging bracket making sure that the wires do not get caught or damaged
(Fig. 2).
