OIL FILTER ELEMENT, WATER PUMP AND RIGHT CRANKCASE COVER

Impeller shaft
1. Install:
• Impeller shaft 1
• Washer 2
• Impeller 3
14 Nm (1.4 m · kg, 10 ft · lb)
NOTE:
• Take care so that the oil seal lip is
not damaged or the spring does
not slip off its position.
• When installing the impeller shaft,
apply the lithium soap base grease
on the oil seal lip and impeller
shaft. And install the shaft while
turning it.
• Hold the impeller shaft on its width
across the flats a with spanners,
etc. and install the impeller.
Right crankcase cover
1. Install:
• Dowel pin 1
• O-ring 2
New
• Collar 3
• Gasket 4
New
NOTE:
Apply the lithium soap base grease
on the O-ring.
2. Install:
• Right crankcase cover 1
• Bolt (right crankcase cover) 2
10 Nm (1.0 m · kg, 7.2 ft · lb)
NOTE:
• Apply the engine oil on the impeller
shaft end.
• Mesh the impeller shaft gear 3
with primary drive gear 4.
• Tighten the bolts in stage, using a
crisscross pattern.

Arbre de rotor
1. Monter:
• Arbre de rotor 1
• Rondelle 2
• Rotor 3
14 Nm (1,4 m · kg, 10 ft · lb)
N.B.:
• Prendre garde à ne pas endommager la
lèvre de bague d'étanchéité et à ne pas
déplacer le ressort.
• Lors du montage de l'arbre de rotor,
enduire la lèvre de bague d'étanchéité
ainsi que l'arbre de rotor d'huile de
moteur. Monter l'arbre de rotor tout en
le tournant.
• Maintenir l'arbre de rotor par les
zones latérales aplaties a au moyen
d'une clé, etc., et monter la turbine de
pompe.
Demi-carter droit
1. Monter:
• Goupille 1
• Joint torique 2
New
• Collerette 3
• Joint 4
New
N.B.:
Enduire le joint torique de graisse à base
de savon au lithium.
2. Monter:
• Demi-carter droit 1
• Boulon (demi-carter droit) 2
10 Nm (1,0 m · kg, 7,2 ft · lb)
N.B.:
• Enduire l'extrémité d'arbre de rotor
d'huile moteur.
• Engrener le pignon d'arbre de rotor 3
et le pignon menant primaire 4.
• Serrer les boulons par étapes en sui-
vant un ordre entrecroisé.
