Procedure
Memory Stick

Never turn off the power before
this process has completed.
Otherwise, it will cause malfunction
of the Communication System.
Approximately
12 minutes
C may or may not be performed depending on the relation between the old version and the new version.
In C, no image may be displayed on the monitor screen. However the lamp on the front of this unit is lit and
the update is performed.
Although the system may repeat restarting and the update procedure may be continued, do not turn off the
power of this unit before the completion of update (D); the home menu is displayed and the lamp on the front
of this unit turns off.
n The version downgrade cannot be performed by the method using Memory Stick. Only the
version upgrade can be performed.
PCS-XG80
Turn off the power of this unit.
Connect the camera unit for
which update is to be performed
to this unit.
Copy the UPD file (bellinixxxxx.upd
for PCS-XG80/XG80S,
Lbellinixxxxx.upd for PCS-XG55/
XG55S) to the root directory of
the empty Memory Stick.
Insert Memory Stick into the
Memory Stick slot of this unit.
Turn on the power.
This unit is started.
The update is performed.
(The updating progress (%) is

displayed.)
The system is restarted.
B
The lamp is lit. Then, the writing
to the internal block of main unit
and the update of peripheral
C
equipment are performed.
After the system is restarted, the
home menu is displayed.
D
(The update is completed.)
Remove Memory Stick from the
Memory Stick slot.

Update
Reboot the system.
