8. X-Y ZOOM

You can make copies with different reproduction ratios set for the X (horizontal) and Y (Vertical) directions
in the range of 25 to 400% respectively.
In the following cases, set the reproduction ratio in the range of 25 to 200%.
- When setting the "full colour", "auto colour", "twin colour" or "image smoothing" mode.
- When placing the original(s) on the reversing automatic document feeder (optional).
1 Place paper in the drawer(s).
- "1.SETTING COPY PAPER"
2 Place the original(s).
- "2.SETTING ORIGINALS"
3 Press the [EDIT] button to enter the edit
menu, and then press the [XY ZOOM]
button.
Set the reproduction ratios for the X

(horizontal) and Y (Vertical) directions
respectively.
- Using the [25%] and [400%] buttons on the screen, set the
reproduction ratio for X and press the [SET] button. Similarly, set
the reproduction ratio for Y.
5 Press the [ENTER] button.
Select other copy modes as required.
Press the [START] button.
