EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED WITHOUT A LICENSE UNDER APPLICABLE PATENTS IN THE MPEG-2
PATENT PORTFOLIO, WHICH LICENSE IS AVAILABLE FROM MPEG LA, L.L.C., 6312 S. Fiddler's
Green Circle, Suite 400E, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 U.S.A.
THIS PRODUCT IS LICENSED UNDER THE AVC PATENT PORTFOLIO LICENSE FOR THE
PERSONAL USE OF A CONSUMER OR OTHER USES IN WHICH IT DOES NOT RECEIVE

We provide the software in your camcorder based on license agreements with the owners of the
respective copyrights. Based on requests by the owners of copyright of these software applications, we
have an obligation to inform you of the following. Please read the following sections.
Copies of the licenses (in English) are stored in the internal memory of your camcorder. Establish a
Mass Storage connection between your camcorder and a computer, and read the files in the "LICENSE"
folder in "PMHOME."
On GNU GPL/LGPL applied software
The software that is eligible for the following GNU General Public License (hereinafter referred to as
"GPL") or GNU Lesser General Public License (hereinafter referred to as "LGPL") are included in the
camcorder.
This informs you that you have a right to have access to, modify, and redistribute source code for these
software programs under the conditions of the supplied GPL/LGPL.
Source code is provided on the web. Use the following URL to download it. When downloading the
source code, select HDR-CX390 as the model for your camcorder.
