<Speciﬁed Paper Incorrect> appears on the Printer Status Window.
The setting in [Output Size] for a print job to be performed differs from the
setting in [Output Size] for a print job that has been performed most recently.
Check if the size of paper that is loaded in the cassette is correct, then set the
cassette into the printer again. (Printing will start automatically.) When printing
on paper that is fed from the manual feed slot, conﬁrm the size of paper set in
the manual feed slot, then click [
If you are using the printer sharing function on your computer, it takes a long time for the
Printer Status Window to obtain the printer status.
If you are using Windows XP Service Pack 2 or another operating system
equipped with Windows Firewall as a print server, communication with the client
computers is blocked by Windows Firewall.
Start the print server and clear the Windows Firewall block from
communications with client computers. For details, refer to the ﬁle "note_ex.pdf"
that is included in the [English] folder on the supplied "User Software for
] on the Printer Status Window.
