Installations on Windows XP, Vista, or 7 are not supported. MSP 3.3.1 is also not
supported on Windows Server systems that are Domain Controllers

Note:
If you have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 installed, it includes the Microsoft
.NET Framework 2.0 SP2. If you are installing to Windows Server 2008/2008 R2 you
must install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1.

Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008/2008 R2
Note:
If you will not be installing the Data Collection, Long-Term Analysis features of MSP,
you can use SQL Server 2005 Express. This version of SQL Server is free and has
been included for your use if you need it. Such an installation does not require SQL
Server 2008 Express.
The SQL Server 2005 Express install script provided through the Installer in the
Additional Components area of the installer interface is offered "as is." If the SQL
Server 2005 Express install script doesn't meet your needs; you will have to install
the software without the provided install script.

Hardware Requirements

Servers on which you plan to install MSP 3.3.1 must meet the minimum hardware requirements
listed in Table 1. These recommended minimum requirements may vary. Increasing these values
beyond the minimum should increase the performance of the overall MSP system.
