Set the modem volume

1. On the control panel, scroll to and touch the
menu.
2. Scroll to and touch

Set the dialing mode

The dialing mode setting sets the type of dialing that is used: either tone (touch-tone phones) or pulse
(rotary-dial phones).
To set the dialing mode, perform the following steps.
1. On the control panel, scroll to and touch the
menu.
2. Scroll to touch

Initial Setup
Fax Setup to display the Fax Setup menu.
Fax Send Settings to display the Fax Send Settings menu.
Fax Dial Volume to display the Fax Dial Volume menu.
Low (default), or High
Save to save the volume setting.
Initial Setup to open the initial setup menu.
Fax Setup to open the fax setup menu.
Fax Send Settings and use the down arrow key to scroll to
Dialing Mode to see the dialing mode settings.
Tone (default) to set the fax for tone dialing, or touch
