What
is Bluetooth?
Bluetooth is a technology that enables Bluetooth
compliant devices to interconnect easily with each
other using a short wireless connection.

- A part ofyourbodyis incontactwiththereceiving/
transmitting systemofthe Bluetooth deviceor the Hi-Fi
Component.
- It issubjectto electrical variation fromobstructions caused
bya wall,corner, o r officepartitioning.
- It isexposed to electrical i nterference fromsamefrequency-
banddevices including medical e quipment, m icrowave
ovens, a ndwireless LANs.
• Pair the Hi-FiComponent withthe Buetoothdevicewhile
they areclosetogether.
• Thefurtherthedistanceis between Hi-FiComponent and
Buetoothdevice,theworsethequalityis. Ifthe distance
exceeds theBluetooth operational range,theconnection is
lost.
• Inpoorreception-sensitivity
areas, t he Bluetooth connection
maynotworkproperly.
• The Bluetooth connection onlyworkswhenit is closeto
the set.Theconnection willbe automatically cut offifthe
distance is outof thisrange.Even withinthisrange, t he
soundqualitymaybe degraded byobstacles suchaswails
or doors.

To connect
the Hi-Fi Component
to a
Bluetooth
device
Check if the Bluetooth device supports the Blue-
tooth compliant stereo headset function.
1. Pressthe CD/Bluetoothbuttonof theHi-FiComponent
to displaythe BLUETOOTH message.
You will seeWAIT for awhileandthenREADY onthe
frontdisplay of theHi-FiComponent.
2. Select t he Bluetooth menuon the Bluetooth deviceyou
wantto connect.(Refer to the Bluetooth device'suser
manual.)
3. Select t he Stereoheadset m enuon the Bluetooth device.
You will seea listofscanned devices.
4. Select"[Samsung]HI-FIXXXXXX" fromthe list.
Whenthe Component is connected to the Buetooth
device,it will display CONNECTED -, BLUETOOTH
onthe frontdisplay.
