capbyturningcounter-clockwise. Fillthe Water T ank
withCOOL tap water. N EVER USEHOTWATER.
Hotwatermaycause damage to theFilterPador to
theHumidifier.

Replace thecapsonthe Water T anks andplacethe
filledWater T anks onthe BaseReservoir andallowit
to empty.
CAUTION: NEVER POUR WATER THROUGH
THE EXHAUST GRILL ON THE UPPER
MOTOR HOUSING, DOING SO MAY CAUSE
DAMAGE AND PERSONAL INJURY.
OPERATION
Step #1
Be sure that the humidifier has been placed on a firm,
flat and level surface. Remember that this product uses
water and always carry the Water Tank carefully. As
with any water-filled appliance, there is always the
possibility of some spillage. Water can damage
furniture and some flooring, so we recommend that the
humidifier be placed on a water resistant surface for
protection from water spillage.
SEARS CANNOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY
FOR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY CAUSED BY
WATER SPILLAGE.
Step #2
With the Moisture Output Control Knob in the OFF
position, plug the humidifier into a polarized 120 volt
AC wall outlet. Do not use an extension cord. DO NOT
FORCE THE POLARIZED PLUG INTO THE OUTLET;
it will only fit one way. DO NOT PLUG IN THE
HUMIDIFIER WITH WET HANDS AS AN ELECTRIC
SHOCK COULD OCCUR.
