Colour output, like black and white output, should
be handled and stored carefully to preserve its
appearance and usability. Your colour output,
which is made from colour dry inks (toners),
requires a little special attention. To help preserve
the fidelity of your colour output, Xerox
recommends that you consider the following:
2
Some adhesive tapes and adhesives (glues)
contain solvents that may soften or dissolve the
colour dry inks (toners). Adhesive tapes and
adhesives should be tested on sample output
before being applied to your valuable copies or
3
prints. Adhesive tape may also pull off the dry inks
(toners) when the tape is removed.
If your output comes in contact with PVC and
PVC-type (vinyl) plastics, the dry inks (toners)
may soften and transfer to the plastic. Use
4
polypropylene and polyethylene plastics for any
covers or binders that come in contact with the
colour output.
