Hour meter/Voltmeter

NOTE:

To switch the display between the hour
meter and voltmeter, push the hour meter/
voltmeter display select switch 1 for at least
2 seconds.

Hour meter
The hour meter is provided to make it
easy to follow the maintenance schedule.
The meter shows the hours of engine
operation that have elapsed since the water-
craft was new.
Voltmeter
The voltmeter is provided to display the
voltage of the battery.
The voltmeter displays 12 volts or more
when the battery voltage is within specifica-
tion.
If the voltage displayed is low, beach the
watercraft and, if necessary, have a Yamaha
dealer check the charging system.

Check engine warning indicator

If a sensor malfunction or a short circuit is
detected, the warning indicator begins to
blink and the buzzer sounds intermittently.
If this occurs, reduce the engine speed,
beach the watercraft, and have a Yamaha
dealer check the engine.
