When servicing, use only
identical replacement
parts. Use of any other
parts may create a hazard or cause product
damage.

Always wear safety goggles or
safety glasses with side shields that comply
with ANSI Z87.1 during product operation.
If
operation is dusty, also wear a dust mask.

Before inspecting,
cleaning,
or servicing the machine, disconnect
the plug
from power source and wait for all moving parts
to stop. Failure to follow these instructions
can
result in serious personal injury or property
damage.

Do not at any time let brake
fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based
products,
penetrating
oils, etc., come in contact with
plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken,
or destroy plastic which may result in serious
personal injury. Only the parts shown on
the parts list are intended to be repaired or
replaced by the customer. All other parts should
be replaced at an authorized service center.

Blades are sharp, when
handling the blade assembly, wear non-slip,
heavy-duty
protective gloves. Do not place
your hand or fingers between blades or in any
position where they could get pinched or cut.
Never touch blades or service unit with the
power supply connected.
GENERAL
MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts.
Most plastics are susceptible
to damage from various
types of commercial
solvents and may be damaged
by their use. Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust,
oil, grease, etc.
CLEANING
THE HEDGE TRIMMER
• Stop the motor and disconnect
from power supply.
• Clean dirt and debris from the body of the hedge
trimmer, using a damp cloth with a mild detergent.
NOTE: Do not use any strong detergents on the
plastic housing or the handle.
They can be damaged
by certain aromatic oils such as pine and lemon, and
by solvents such as kerosene.
STORING THE TRIMMER
• Clean all foreign material from the product.
• Store it in a well-ventilated
place that is inaccessible
to children.
• Keep away from corrosive
agents such as garden
chemicals
and de-icing salts.
