Checking location before installing the server

■Installing the server to the rack

Make sure to contact an office listed in the "Contact Information" before attempting to install or remove the serv-
er from the rack.

Remove the inner rail from the slide
rail.
Pull out the inner rail while pushing on the lock.

Attach the inner rails to the right and
left side of the server.
Secure the inner rails to 3 places on both the right
and left side of the server using M4 screws.
* Also secure the opposite side in the same way

Open both the front and rear doors of
the rack.

Decide where to attach the slide rail
and rack nuts.
Choose the height at which to place the server in
the rack by aligning the base of the sever with one
of the narrower spaces (Refer to the figure below)
in the rack bracket.
