Progress Status

Textual information about the processing in progress is added to the progress status as needed.
Progress status format:
["Host Name or IP Address"], "Processing", "Process", " Detailed status" ("Error code")
Host Name or IP Address
When the Multi LAN is selected for the interface, the host name or IP address of the connected printers is
displayed.
When it exceeds 16 characters, only the first 16 characters are displayed.

Description
Obtains the parameter setting values from the connected printer on the
[Parameter Setting] screen.
Downloads the parameter setting values to the connected printer on the
[Parameter Setting] screen.
Downloads the firmware to the connected printer on the [Firmware
Download] tab page in the [Download] screen.
Downloads the BASIC program to the connected printer on the [BASIC
Download] tab page in the [Download] screen.
Obtains the latest self-diagnosis results from the printer on the Self
Diagnosis tab page in the [Maintenance] screen.
Resets the printer on the [Self Diagnosis] tab page in the [Maintenance]
screen.
Performs a print head check on the [Self Diagnosis] tab page in the
[Maintenance] screen.
Saves the printer information in a file on the [Self Diagnosis] tab page in
the [Maintenance] screen.
Takes the log on the [Self Diagnosis] tab page in the [Maintenance]
screen.
Performs a maintenance counter clear on the [Self Diagnosis] tab page in
the [Maintenance] screen.
Performs a parameter clear on the [Self Diagnosis] tab page in the
[Maintenance] screen.
Performs a memory allocation on the [Memory Management] tab page in
the [Maintenance] screen.
Formats the memory on the [Memory Management] tab page in the
[Maintenance] screen.
Sends a specified file to the printer on the [Tool] tab page in the [Tool]
screen.
Performs a test print on the [Test Print] tab page in the [Tool] screen.
Restores the printer from the setting mode to online mode.
Description
Processing is started.

Processing abnormally ends.
Processing ends due to cancellation.
Preparing for download.
The firmware is being updated on the printer.
The parameter setting values are being updated on the printer.
ROM file is being sent to the printer in the Firmware Download
processing.
