Monitoring RMON (Remote Monitoring) history

All active ports by default will generate two history control data entries per active port. An active
port is defined as one with a link up. If the link goes down the two history entries are automatically
deleted.
The following history entries are generated for each device:

This information is used by Dell customer support.
The number of RIP packets dropped by the device because the RIP version was
either invalid or is not supported by this device.
The number of RIP packets dropped because the value in the Address Family
Identifier field of the packet's header was invalid.
The number of RIP request packets this router dropped because the format
was bad.
This information is used by Dell customer support.
The number of responses to RIP request packets this router dropped because
the format was bad.
This information is used by Dell customer support.
The number of RIP responses received from loopback interfaces.
This information is used by Dell customer support.
A sampling of statistics every 30 seconds
A sampling of statistics every 30 minutes
