For HP 9000 and HP Integrity systems shipped prior to 2010, Hewlett-Packard offers a simple,

flexible procedure for updating system Firmware called HP Firmware Manager (HP FM). HP FM

will continue to be available for systems introduced prior to 2010.

With the new 2010 Integrity blades, HP provides an IO card bundle, with an OS initiate-able

method to update the firmware on the IO cards.
