How to operate the AUDIO CONTROL

Switching audio control modes

Various audio control modes may be fine-tuned using this procedure.

Press the [MODE] button to select the item to be adjusted.
Modes will switch in the order shown below each time the button is pressed.
VOL ➔ BASS ➔ TREB ➔ FAD ➔ BAL ➔ LOUD ➔ VOL
ATTENTION
• If you change the "AMP GAIN" setting from "HIGH PWR" to "LOW PWR" while the volume
level is set higher than "VOL 30," the receiver automatically changes the volume level to "VOL
30."
• Pressing the [MUTE] button briefly will cut the volume or restore it instantly.
WARNING
Do not adjust the volume or other controls while driving the vehicle. Do so only while parked in a
safe location.

BASS
TREB (TREBLE)
FAD (FADER)
BAL (BALANCE)
LOUD
Function
Adjusts volume.
Adjusts bass level. Bass mode can be
adjusted for each source
Adjusts treble level. Treble mode can be
adjusted for each source
Adjusts front/rear speaker balance.
Adjusts left/right speaker balance.
The loudness control may be turned on to
emphasize low and high frequencies at
low volume levels.
Loudness compensates for the apparent
weakness of low and high frequencies at
low volume by boosting the bass and
treble levels.

How to operate the AUDIO CONTROL

[AUDIO CONTROL] button
Turn to the Left
Decreases the
volume.
Softens low sounds.
Softens high sounds.
Emphasizes rear
speakers.
Emphasizes left
speakers.
Turn the loudness control ON/OFF.
Turn to the Right
Increases the
volume.
Emphasizes low
sounds.
Emphasizes high
sounds.
Emphasizes front
speakers.
Emphasizes right
speakers.
