Taking Pictures (AUTO Mode)

This section describes the basic operations.

Turn the camera on.
A Set the Power switch to q.
C Set the Focus mode selector switch to S-AF.
CHECK
• Focal range
Wide-angle: approx. 40 cm (1.3 ft.) to infinity
Telephoto: approx. 2 m (6.6 ft.) to infinity
• Select e Macro mode to take close-up shots (➝p.74).
B Set the Mode
dial to B.

Switch the display.
Press the EVF/LCD to alternate the display between the
viewfinder (EVF) and the LCD monitor.

• When the AF frame in the viewfinder (EVF) is difficult to
see, adjust the viewfinder using the Diopter adjustment
dial.
• The EVF/LCD selection is retained even when the
camera is off or the mode setting is changed.
