BASIC OPERATION GUIDE

the Camera
You've read the chapter on getting ready and the camera is now set up and ready to take pictures.
"Using the Camera" describes the basic camera operations of "Taking Pictures", then "Viewing Images"
and "Erasing Images".
This section describes the camera's functions.

with that button (shown on the display panel)
changes.
The function of each button changes depending
on the photography mode and the display panel

Displaying the On-screen Help
Instructions for the next step in the procedure
are displayed at the bottom of the screen. Press
the button indicated.
For example, in the figure shown at right, pressing

In the Owner's Manual the up, down, left and right directions on the 4-direction button are indicated by
black triangles. Up and down are shown as "a" or "b", while left and right are shown as "d" or "c".
