Cleaning and Maintenance

For hygienic and safety rea-
sons, keep the grill clean.
Bits of food will give off
fumes when heated and in
the worst case can lead to a
fire.

Aluminium

Use a well-wrung-out cloth for daily
cleaning. In the case of stubborn dirt
use a cloth or soft plastic sponge and
washing-up liquid or universal
cleaner.
Never use metal cleaning pads, soft
soap, metal sponges, hard plastic
sponges, scouring powder or other
abrasive and caustic cleaners.

Grill

The operating panel
Wipe the operating panel with a damp
cloth wrung out in ordinary detergent.
If necessary wipe afterwards with a

before it is cleaned.

time it has been used.
1. Remove burnt-on grease and rem-
nants of food with a pot scourer.
2. Clean the grill rack with ordinary
washing-up liquid.

means: Do not immerse
the electrical connector in
water.
The grill pan
The grill pan must be cleaned each
time the grill has been used.
1. Remove burnt-on grease and rem-

Lava rocks
When there is a lot of grease on the
lava rocks, they should be washed. The
lava rocks can be washed by hand in a
washing-up bowl using hot water and
washing-up liquid or in the dishwasher.
If they are cleaned in the dishwasher,
the lava rocks should be put in a basket
that is safe to use in a dishwasher.
