Night Guard software operation:
If your installation process was successful you are now ready to launch the software suite and begin
using the Night Guard system. You will have to digitally synchronize all of the cameras to the
receiver. This will insure a private coded signal so that you are the only one viewing the images.
This is a hand shake between the sensor lights and the USB receiver. To do this, please start the
Night Guard program with the USB receiver in the chosen USB slot. There is a desktop icon that has
been added to your desktop that will launch the program. It will look like the icon below.

Double click the icon and the program will launch. Once the program is running, click Setup and go
to device setup from the top menu. A box will open and it will show 4 cameras. If you only have 1
camera it will be connected to camera one. If you have purchased more than one camera you will
have to repeat this process for each camera installed. You will probably need help with this as
someone will have to be at the computer and someone else will have to be at the sensor light. Please
see the screen shots below that will describe this process.
Your computer will continue the installation and the
driver should install normally. If the computer does
not find the driver, insure the USB receiver in the
same slot that it was in when the program was
installed. You can also choose to install the driver
manually. If this is the case then direct windows to
the location where the installation disk is inserted
and choose the correct operating system and
continue the installation.
