WARNING:
Do not look straight at the IR
light since it emits an infrared
beam of light when it is lighted.
You may damage your eyes if
you look straight at the light.

Precautions for use

$ The IR (infrared) light is used as a
photographic aid for shooting in the dark and
at night. Do not use it for any other purpose.
$ When the IR light is mounted on the camera-
recorder and the camera-recorder is to be
carried, do not hold the camera-recorder by
the IR light.
$ Avoid using or storing the IR light in the
following places:
O Where the IR light will be exposed to the
intense rays of the sun, inside a vehicle
with all the windows closed or any other
high-temperature location
O Near a heating appliance or where the IR
light will be exposed to direct sunlight
O Where it is very dusty
O Where the IR light will be subjected to
violent vibration
$ When the IR light is not going to be used or
when carrying it, be absolutely sure to set
the POWER switch to the OFF position and
remove the battery.
Before stowing away the IR light, allow it
cool off sufficiently first.
