How To Install Optional Circuit Board

CAUTION
These servicing instructions are for use by qualified service personnel only. To reduce the risk of
electric shock do not perform any servicing other than that contained in the operating instructions
unless you are qualified to do so.
The HD-SD format converter board (AJ-UDC150P),
which is available as an optional accessory, can be
installed in the unit.
O Consult
your
dealer
installation of the optional board.
O Before installing the optional board, be
absolutely sure to disconnect the power
cable.

Remove the six screws of the unit's top panel,
and remove the top panel.

Remove the two screws, and stand the board unit
vertically.
<Note>
Check that the stoppers are locked to ensure that
the board unit will not topple over.

Loosen the two screws at A, remove the two
screws at B, and remove the board clamps.
<Note>
There is no need to remove the two screws at A.

Remove the board in the F4 slot, and install the
HD-SD format converter board (AJ-UDC150P).

Insert the board into the F4 slot, engage the
board clamps and screw them down.
<Note>
Insert the board while ensuring that the wires are
not pinched in the process.

Unlock the stoppers, place the board unit flat,
and screw it down.
<Note>
Place the board unit flat while ensuring that the
wires are not pinched in the process.

Attach the top panel and secure it using the
screws.
8
Turn on the unit's power, and set it to the
decoder mode.
Check that a display other than "NONE" appears
as the status display "UFC" on the display panel.
