Manual blocking of the rear doors

The child safety locks are located on the trailing
edge of the rear doors and are only accessible
when the doors are open.
Use the key blade to turn the lock and thus
activate or deactivate the child safety lock.
The door cannot be opened from inside.
The doors can be opened from inside.
NOTE
Cars with electric child safety locks do not
have manual child locks.
Electrical locking of the rear doors and
power windows*
When the electric child safety lock is active:
the rear windows can only be opened with
the driver's door control panel
the rear doors cannot be opened from the
inside.
1. Child safety locks are activated/deacti-
vated in ignition position I or II see
page 70.
2. Press the button in the driver's door control
panel.
> The information display shows a mes-
sage.
The lamp on the switch illuminates when
the locks are activated.
