5. Auto Repeat mode

The Auto Repeat function is a combination of the Auto Play mode and
the Auto Return mode. To access the Auto Repeat function, press the
AUTO PLAY/AUTO RTN key so that both AUTO RTN LED and AUTO PLAY
LED light.
You also need to set the Auto Return Start point and the Auto Return End
point, as you did for the Auto Return function. (Refer to the previous section
"Auto Return" for information on setting the Start and End points.)
With the Auto Repeat function, the D-160 plays data up to the Auto Return
End point, then automatically locates the Auto Return Start point, and
plays back data between the Start and End points repeatedly, until you
cancel playback using the STOP button.
You can set the preroll point within a
range of 0 to 10 seconds (Refer to page
"149" for details.)
Using the Auto Repeat function when you are rehearsing Auto Punch In/
Out recording, allows you to rehearse as many times as you want without
tedious operations. For example, by setting the Start point just before the
Auto Punch In point and the End point just before the Auto Punch Out
point, you do not need to worry about locating the data and can concentrate
on rehearsing.
