D-160 Owner's Manual (Saving and loading data)
* If you have selected a Program that has the Program number and title indication, plus "nD"
(n=number) on the display:
This indication means that saving Program 01 requires multiple SCSI disks.
"2D" in this example means that two disks are required.
When using the hard disk, if the program data to be saved is larger than the hard disk capacity,
"- ***MB" (insufficient capacity) will be displayed.
Also, if the EXECUTE/YES key is pressed while this is on the diaplay, "DISK FULL" will appear in
the display.
7. Press the EXECUTE/YES key. ("SURE?" flashes.)
The D-160 performs the save operation differently depending on the selected Program.
* If you have selected a Program that requires only one disk to save:
The current Song number ("S01") in the SCSI disk appears on the display.
Pressing the EXECUTE/YES key at this point will start the save operation. "REMAIN" will light up,
then the D-160 will display "P01>>S01-***MB". "-***MB" indicates the remaining amount of
data to be saved, which will count down as the save operation is in progress.
* If you have selected a Program that requires multiple disks:
The save operation will start right away. "REMAIN" will light up, then the D-160 will display
"P01>>B01-***MB". (The indication of the remaining amount of data to be saved will count down
as the save operation is in progress.) The Song number will automatically change to the Backup
number "B01."
When saving to the first disk is complete, "Insert Disk 2" (Insert the second disk!) appears on the
display, and the D-160 will automatically eject the disk. When you insert the second disk, the D-160
will continue the save operation with the same Backup number. In this way, when the entire save
operation is complete, the D-160 will display an illuminated "COMPLETED!", then change to the
Time Base of the saved Program.
Pressing the STOP button or the EXIT/NO key will turn the "COMPLETED!" indication off.
* You cannot abort a save operation on the SCSI device while it is in progress.
* To enter a title for a SCSI disk, go to "2-20. Drive Sel.?" menu in Setup mode and change

1. Follow Steps 1 through 5 of the "Saving an individual Program" procedure.
2. Use the JOG dial to select "Save ALL?" ("?" flashes.).
Selecting "Save All?" will cause the following display to appear.

the title. Normally, the title of the program in the internal IDE hard disk will be directly
copied as the title of the song in the SCSI disk or the title of the backup data.
if those disks already have data recorded, the message ("B01[*****]DEL" or
"S01[*****]DEL") will appear on the display, asking if you wish to erase the Backup data or
Song data already recorded on the disk, and "SURE?" will flash.
Subsequently, if you wish to erase the data, press the EXECUTE/YES key is and save will
start after erasing the data. If you do not want to erase the data, rotate the JOG dial and
select "Eject" while "SURE?" is blinking, and then press the EXECUTE/YES key and remove
the disk. The disk can also be removed after emerging from the SETUP mode by pressing
the STOP button or the EXIT/NO key. In this case, the press the EXIT/NO key while pressing
down on the STOP button when in other than the SETUP mode.
