PROCEDURE

Set up the equipment as shown in figure 4-3 and
set the controls as follows:

Set NEG-POS-MAN switch to NEG and repeat
steps 3 and 4 observing the pulses. The Model
8081 A output shou Id trigger on the negative
half-cycles of the oscillator output.

The function of the Model 8081 A is tested in external
gate mode using an external sinewave generator to apply
a gate signal of 10KHz.
