Placing the appliance in the
niche
^ Unscrew the plinth facing.
^ Secure the edge protector supplied
a to protect the adjacent furniture
fronts.
^ Plug in the appliance b.
Connection should be made via a
suitable switched socket. The socket
should be close to the appliance
and easily accessible.
When installing two appliances side
by side, each appliance must have
its own separate socket.
^ Secure the cable to prevent it
becoming caught:
Tie a piece of string to the middle of
the cable, and as the appliance is
being pushed into the niche, pull the
cable forward underneath the
appliance c.
^ Carefully push the appliance back
into the niche, clipping the feet into
the anti-tipping mechanisms d.
If the appliance does not slide easily
into the niche (e.g. if the floor is
uneven),
^ twist the rear adjusters slightly (see
"Aligning the appliance").
Then push the appliance into the
niche, taking care not to damage the
electical and mains water
connections.
^ Remove the edge protector a from
the adjacent furniture fronts.
