Tips
Cover dishes which are to be cooked
in their own juice and/or steam, e.g.
potatoes or vegetables, so that they do
not dry out. If you do not have a lid, use
aluminium foil or damp cooking
parchment.
Cook without a lid when a crusty finish
or topping is required, e.g. for meat or
au gratin dishes.
You can also stack one dish on top of
another. Invert the lid of the bottom
dish and place the top dish on it. Put
food which needs to be browned in the
top dish.
Gentle bake
GENTLE BAKE is ideal for soufflés and
gratins which require a crisp top.
Use the first shelf level from the bottom.
