A list of variables and their settings can be requested over the RS-232 port by:
V LIST
The output from this command is quite long and will not be shown here. The general format of
the output is:
name = value warning_lo warning_hi <data_lo> <data_hi>
Where:
name
= name of the variable
value
= current value of variable
warning_lo
= lower limit warning (displayed if applicable)
warning_hi
= upper limit warning (displayed if applicable)
data_lo
= lower limit of allowable values
data_hi
= upper limit of allowable values
Variables can be changed. Before changing the settings on any variables, please make sure
you understand the consequences of the change. We recommend you call the factory before
changing the settings on any variables. The general format for changing the settings on a
variable is:
V LIST name[=value [warn_lo [warn_hi]]]
For example to change the warning limits on the box temperature type:
V BOX_SET 30 10 50
and the CPU should respond with:
V DDD:HH:MM IIII BOX_SET=30 10 50(0-60)
The CONFIG command lists the software configuration.
For example:
V CONFIG
list software configuration
