    The burner box is 3% II deep. Additional clearance is required under the back 6” of the burner box for fuel and power connections. See Figure 5. The minimal clearances between the cooktop and adjacent vertical combusti- ble surfaces is 3 II on either side and 1 II in the back. See Figures 1 A and 1 B. Use Figure 2, below, for new inStah tions or use Figure 3 below for replacement installations.

    UNPACKING THE UNIT /COVER Remove packing material from unit accessories. Grill/Griddle Models - Assemble grill/griddle as shown in Figure 4. Set aside. Be sure to remove the pressure regulator and all hard- ware before disposing of carton. FLAVOR GENERATOR When raising or lowering the cooktop itself use the front INSERT two burner openings.

    LP GAS ADJUSTMENT Your was factory built for use with natural gas, for USE WITH LP GAS THE FOLLOWING ADJUSTMENTS cooktop MUST BE MADE. Pressure Regulator - To convert the pressure regulator for LP gas unscrew the regulator access cap, see Figure at right, turn cap over and screw it back onto the regulator.

    After each burner has been checked, close cooktop and place drip bowls in burner openings. Ignite each burner separately and examine soft blue inner core of flame. Burner flame adjustments were done in the factory inner cores should be approximately r/z inch.
