setup OK?
Correct and verify the
receiver setup as
necessary.
C
Verify the output (RF or
IP) on the PIVD100R.
If necessary, correct and
verify any output issues; e.g.,
adjust the signal level at RF
OUT, or use a PC/traffic
analyzer to check/adjust IP
traffic on the network.

Troubleshooting (Cont.)
Receiver Reception (Cont.)
For example:
• Check that the proper session ID has been set for Pro:Idiom
encryption.
• If using RF output, check that the RF signal level at the receiver is
OK. The PIVD100R signal level at the TV input (ANTENNA IN)
must be between 0 to +7 dBmV. Also, check the RF power level at
the receiver as well as the signal-to-noise ratio.
• If using IP output, check for an error-free Ethernet connection, and
check the IP links at the switches.

No
To verify the PIVD100R output:
• For RF output, check the signal at RF OUT on the PIVD100R rear
panel. The signal level at RF OUT should be approximately 42
dBmV.
• For IP output, check the LEDs on the PIVD100R Feature Port.
When the amber LED is lit continuously, the PIVD100R is
operating/streaming normally. If the green LED is lit, there is a
viable connection to the IP distribution network, but no traffic. If the
amber LED is blinking, there is intermittent traffic, but no streaming.
