COMO ESCOGER UN LUGAR PARA EL CALENTADOR/VENTILADOR

sean obstruidas. Mantenga todos los materiales combustibles tales como

COMO USAR EL CALENTADOR:

el control del termostato en ALTO (HI) hasta que se haya llegado a la
temperatura deseada; luego cuidadosamente baje la temperatura hasta
que el calentador se apague. El calentador automáticamente se
encenderá y apagará para mantener el nivel de la temperatura.

CARACTERISTICAS ESPECIALES DE ESTE CALENTADOR/VENTILADOR
LUZ INDICADORA DE ENCENDIDO: Para mostrar que la unidad está
encendida y en funcionamiento, este Calentador/Ventilador está
equipado con una luz indicadora de encendido que se ilumina cada vez
que el calentador es enchufado y el interruptor rotativo es movido a
cualquier posición. Esta continuará iluminada aún si el termostato ha
dejado de funcionar y los elementos de calentamiento están apagados.
DISPOSITIVO DE APAGADO AUTOMATICO DE CERAMICA PTC: Este
Calentador/Ventilador está equipado con un apagado automático y un
fusible térmico de seguridad. Si la unidad se calentara excesivamente, el
apagado automático de seguridad apagará el calentador/ventilador pero
la luz de encendido continuará iluminada, indicando que la unidad está
enchufada y encendida. Si esto ocurriera, apague la unidad y
desenchúfela inmediatamente y revise cualquier objeto que pueda estar
restringiendo la salida de aire a través del calentador/ventilador. Para
dejar que el dispositivo de seguridad se enfríe y vuelva a funcionar, deje
un período de enfriamiento de por lo menos 10 minutos antes de
enchufar la unidad y hacerla funcionar nuevamente. El Calentador/
Ventilador volverá a su funcionamiento normal. El dispositivo de apagado
automático está también diseñado para funcionar si el calentador se
ladea, para atrás o para adelante y el flujo de aire es bloqueado.

CUIDADO Y LIMPIEZA
Este artefacto requiere poco mantenimiento y no contiene piezas que
puedan ser reparadas por el usuario. No trate de repararlo usted mismo.
Si necesita reparación, remítalo a personal de servicio calificado. (Para
reparación de piezas, remítase al número de modelo en la etiqueta que
está localizada en el calentador.
PARA LIMPIAR: Siempre coloque el interruptor en APAGADO (Off) y
desenchúfelo antes de limpiar su calentador. El polvo acumulado puede
ser retirado del calentador con un paño suave o con una aspiradora
usando el cepillo que se usa para retirar el polvo. El polvo acumulado
en el interior puede ser retirado usando una aspiradora con la parte que
arroja aire.
El calentador también puede ser limpiado con un paño humedecido con
una solución de un detergente suave y agua. Seque el casco
completamente con un paño suave y seco antes de hacer funcionar
nuevamente la unidad.
PRECAUCION: NO sumerja el calentador en agua o deje que agua
penetre en la caja del motor del calentador, ya que esto podría causar
un corto circuito.
PARA GUARDAR: Cuando guarde la unidad, asegúrese de guardarla en
un área seca. Enrolle el cordón en forma ordenada. El cordón no debe
estar en contacto con objetos afilados y no deberá ser comprimido por
objetos pesados.
RECUERDE: Calentadores eléctricos portátiles son diseñados para
calentar espacios como una fuente de calor suplementario. No están
destinados para ser la fuente principal de calentamiento.
