Rating blocking (V-Chip) problems
* If you forget your PiN code: While the PiN code entering
screen is displayed, press [_%q 4 times within 5 seconds. The
old PIN code is cleared (_-_--_ p. 36).
* The V-Chip feature is available for U.S. V-Chip systems only
(_-_--_ p. 36).
No HDMI ® CEC Control operation
* HDMI® CECControl feature is available for Toshiba HDMI®
CECcompatible devices.
* Ensure HDMI cables with the HDMI Logo (I.41_:3r1[1|) are
used.
* When the connected HDMI® CECdevice does not work
correctly after you have changed the device's settings, turn
off your TV and unplug the power cord. After 1 minute, plug
it in and turn it on again.
* If several devices are connected, HDMI® CECControl feature
may not operate properly.
* Read the instruction manual of the connected HDMI® CEC
device.
HDMI problems
For HDMI cables

Cannot connect to the Internet

No network connection

cablesareconnected properly(_-_--_

* Ensurethe modemandrouterpowercordsarepluggedin
andthedevicesareoperating properly.
* Ensure your IP addressis setup correctly.SeeSection

* Check toensureproperoperation of othernetwork connected
devices.
Network Setup fails (Auto)
* Check to ensurethe LANcablesareconnected properly
(_-,_p.21).
* DHCP is not enabledon the router,or no routeris present.
Referto your router'sdocumentation f or instructionson
enablingDHCP. I f yourrouterdoesnot supportDHCP, y ou
mustmanually set up the IPaddress.
* Internetserviceis not available. C heck your cable/DSL
modemor contact y our ISPfor Internetserviceissues.
Network Setup fails (Manual)
* Ensure the TVIPaddressis not thesameasanyotherdevice
on the network.
Example: I Paddress192.168.0.100 a ndIPaddress
192.168.0.101 aredifferentaddresses on the samenetwork.
* MakesuretheTVIPaddressis on thesamesubnetasthe
networked PC.
Example of propersetup:ThePChasthe IPaddress
192.168.0.100 withthe Subnetmask255.255.255.0, theTV
hasthe IP address192.168.0.101 w ith the Subnetmask
255.255.255.0; bothareon the samesubnet.
Example of impropersetup:ThePChasthe IPaddress
192.168.1.100 withthe Subnetmask255.255.255.0, theTV
hasthe IP address192.168.0.101 w ith the Subnetmask
255.255.253.0; theyareon differentsub-nets.
Unstable network connection
* Whenusingawired home-network c onnection, u nplugthe
LANcables,andthenreconnect t hem.
* Whenusingawirelesshome-network connection:
- Remove ACpowerfrom the routerandthe television for
1 minute.
*Reconnect A Cpowerto the router.
*Reconnect A Cpowerto the televisionandturn it
ON.After2 minutes,checkconnection stability.
- Connect w ith LANcables,if possible, a ndcheck
connection stability.
- Repeat t he wirelessnetworksetupprocedure andcheck
connection stability.
The DMS name is not displayed
* TheLANcables,if used,arenot connected properly
(v_-_ p.21).
* TheWLAN,if used,is not configuredproperly.
* Thenetworksetupon theServeris incorrect.Makesureboth
the DMSandTVareusingthe samenetworktype (DHCP/
manual)andhavecompatible networksettings.
* ToomanyDMSs areconnected. Y oucannotconnectmore
than32 sharingdevicesat onetime.
* TheDMSis not turnedON.
* The"server"is not a DMSdevice.
* Check the firewallandstreamingsettingson the DMS.
