in this area-is still maturing, this unit cannot
guarantee
that all genre of recordable
discs will produce optimal
playback
quality. The technical

Limitations
on MP3/WMA/JPEG
CD playback
• MP3/WMAJJPEG CD is the disc that is standardized by ISO9560, its file name must include3-digitsextension letters,
"rap3", '_vma","jpg".
° MP3NVMA/JPEG CD must be correspondto the ISO standardized files.
• This TWDVD can read 2000 flies per disc. If one disc has more than 2000 files, it reads up to 2000 files, the remainingfiles
will be omitted.
• MP3iWMA/JPEG CDs cannot be used forthe purposeo| recording.
• [f the CD has both audio tracksand MP3_,tMAJJPEG files, onlyaudio tracksare played.
, [t may take mere than one minute for this unitto read MP3/WMA/JPEG files dependingon its structure.
• Musicrecarded by"JalietRecording Speaification_can be played back, thefi]e name is displayed (within tS letters) on the
screen. Long file names will be condensed.
° The music files recorded by "Hierarchical File System" (HFS) cannot be played.
Limitations
on display
• The maximum numberfor display is 15 letters.
Available letters fordisplay are the fallowing:
capital or small alphabets of A through Z, numbersof 0 through9, and _ (under score).
• Other letters than these above are replaced in hyphen.
Notes on MP3,rWMA/JPEG
files
Ta playback MP3JWMA/JPEG CD in the recardedorder,
1. Use MP3!WMA/JPEG software that records data alphabetically or numerically.
2. Name each file including two-digit or three-digit number (ex. "01" "02" or °001" "002").
3. Refrain from making too many sub-folders.
CAUTION:
• Some MP3NVMA/JPEG CDs cannot be played back depending on the recording conditions.
• The CD-RiRW that has no music data or non MP3./WMA/JPEG flies cannot be played back.
