pitched hum or pulsating
sounds while
it is operating.
Sometimes the appliance
runs for an
extended
period, especiallg when the
doors are opened frequentlg.
You may hear a whooshing
sound when
the doors close. This is due to pressure
equalizing within the appliance.
CLICKS, POPS,
CRACKSand CHIRPS
You may hear cracking or popping sounds
when the appliance is first plugged in. This
happens as the appliance cools to
the correct temperature.
Expansion and contraction
of cooling
coils during and after defrost can cause

or popping sounds.
The electronic
control board may cause
a clicking sound when relays activate to
control appliance
components.

high speeds. This happens when the

desired temperatures.
If the door is open for over 3 minutes,

to cool the appliance.

water from the evaporator flows into
the drain pan.

sound due to pressure equalization.
