TELEVISION AS A GIFT FROM THE ORIGINAL CONSUMER
PURCHASERAND TO NO OTHER PURCHASEROR
TRANSFEREE.

CANADA ARE NOT COVEREDBY THESE WARRANTIES.

Limited One (1) Year Warranty on Parts and Labor*
TCL warrants this televisionand its palts against defects in materials
or workmanship for a period of one (]) year after the date of original
retailpurchase. DURING THIS PERIOD, TCL WILL, ATTCL'S
OPTION, REPAIROR REPLACEA DEFECTIVEPARTWITH A
NEW OR REFURBISHED PARTWITHOUT CHARGETO YOU
FOR PARTSOR LABOR. TCL Authorized Service Depot personnel
will come to your home when warrantyservice is required.
Depending on the type of repair required,either the servicewill
be performedin your home or the set will be taken to the TCL
Authorized Service Depot for repair and returned to your home at
no cost to you. IN-HOME SERVICE ONLY APPLIES WITHIN 100
KILOMETERSOF AN AUTHORIZED TCL SERVICE DEPOT.
Limited Two (2) Year Warranty on Picture Tube*
TCL fulther warrants the picture tube in this televisionagainst
defects in materialsor workmanship for a period of two (2) years
after the date of original retail purchase. DURING THIS PERIOD,
TCL WILL, AT TCL'SOPTION, REPAIROR REPLACEA
DEFECTIVEPICTURETUBE WITH A NEW OR REFURBISHED
PICTURETUBE WITHOUT CHARGETO YOU, EXCEPTTHAT,
IF A DEFECTIVEPICTURETUBE IS REPAIRED OR REPLACED
AFTERONE (1) YEAR FROM THE DATEOF THE ORIGINAL
RETAIL PURCHASE,YOU PAY LABOR CHARGES INVOLVED
IN THE REPAIROR REPLACEMENT.
Rental Units
The warranty foe- rental units beginswith tile date of first rental or
thirty (30) days from the date of shipment to the rental firm,
whichever comesfirst.
*Commercial Units
Televisionssold and usedfoe- commercialpurposes havea limited
ninety (90) day warranty for all parts, labor, and picture tubes.

Your Responsibility
THE ABOVE WARRANTIES ARE SUBJECTTO THE FOLLOWING
CONDITIONS:
(1) Youmust provide your bill of sale or other proof of purchase.
(2) All warranty servicing of this televisionmust be made by all
Authorized TCL Service Depot.
(3) The warranties from TCL are effective only if the television is
purchasedin Canadafl-oman authorized TCL dealerand
operated ill Canada.

Warrantiesextend only to defects in materialsor workmanship
as limited above and do not extend to any televisionor parts that
havebeen lost or discarded by you or to damageto television or
parts caused by misuse,accident, Acts of God (such as lightning
or fluctuations in electric power), improper installation,improper
maintenance,or use in violation of instructionsfurnished by TCL;
or to units that havebeen modifiedor hadthe serial number
removed,altered, defaced,or rendered illegible.
How to Obtain Warranty Services
If,after following all of the operating instructionsin this manualand
checking the "Troubleshooting"section,you find that service is
needed:
(1) Tofind the nearestTCLAuthorized Service Depot, visit TCUs
web site: www.toshiba.ca.
(2) Presentyour bill of sale or other proof of purchaseto the
Authorized Service Depot.Authorized TCL Service Depot
personnel will come to your home when warranty serviceis
required.Depending on the type of repair required, either the
servicewill be pel_ormedin your home or the set will be taken
to the Authorized Service Depot for repair and returned to your

commencedto enforce any obligation of TCL arising under this
warranty or under any law of Canadaor of any provincethereof,
is hereby limited to 90 days from the date you discover,or should
havediscovered,the defect. This limitationdoes not apply to implied
warranties arising under the law of any provinceof Canada.
THIS WARRANTY GIVESYOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS,
AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHERRIGHTS,WHICH MAY
VARY FROM PROVINCETO PROVINCE IN CANADA. SOME
PROVINCES OF CANADA DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON
THE DURATION OF AN IMPLIED WARRANTY, LIMITATIONS
ON THE TIME WITHIN WHICH AN ACTION MAY BE BROUGHT,
