You can create your own video program by
editing w ith any otherm 8 nun, HIE Hi8, _I_
VHS, S_ S*V_, _ VHSC, S_I_I S-VH_,
or I1 Betamax VCR that has video/audio inputs.
Turn down the volume of the camcorder while
editing. Otherwise, picture distortion may occur.
After connecting the camcorder to the VCR,
(1) Set the POWER switch to PLAYER.
(2) Insert a blank tape (ora tape you want to
recordover)into theVCR and insert your
recordedtape intothecamcorder.
(3) Play back therecordedtape on the
camcorder until you locate thepointwhere
you want to start editing, then press II to put
the camcorder in playback pause mode.
(4) On the VCR, locate the recording start point
and put the VCR in recording pause mode.
(5) Press i| on the camcorder and VCR
simultaneously to start editing.
To edit more scenes
Repeat steps 3 to 5.
To stop editing
Press • on both the camcorder and VCR.

pausa.

videoc_Imara y ]avideograbadora para
comenzar laedici6n.
Para editar mls escenas
Repita los Pesos 3 a 5.
Para parar ia edici6n
Presione • STOP de la videocltmara y la
videograbadora.
Your camcorder is supplied with a lithium
battery installed. When the battery becomes
weak or dead, the _ indicator flashes in the
viewfinder or on the LCD screen for about 5
seconds when you set the POWER switch to
CAMERA. In this case, replace the battery with
a Sony CR2025 or Durecell DL-2025 lithium
battery. Use of any other battery may present
a risk of fire or explosion.
The lithium battery for the camcorder lasts for
about 1 year under normal operation. (The
lithium battery, that comes installed at the factory
may not last 1 year.)
Su videocamara se suministra con una pila de
litio instalada. Cuando la pila se debi]ite o agote,

sure to install the lithium battery so that
terminals on the battery match the terminals
on the camcorder.
