Channel Settings
Using the Menus
To display the Channel settings, see "Navigating Through Settings"
(see page 32).

Favorite Channels Lets you set up a list of up to 16 of your favorite channels.
1 Press i./4 to scroll to the slot you would like to edit.
2 Enter your favorite channel umnber and press @ to apply and save.
To select other favorite channel numbers, repeat steps 1 aud 2.

Digital Channels Add Select to add
digital
chanuels.
Auto
Program
Automatically sets up the channel list ou the TV for all receivable channels for the current
TV input (either Antenna or Cable).
Show/Hide Channels Allows you to show or hide channels that appear in the program guide and when you use the
CH+/- buttons to channel surf.
1 Press 11./€"to highlight the chaunel that you want to show or hide.
To move between the M:_ior aud Minor subchannel lists, press I./*.
2 To change a channel's setting to Shown or
Hidden,
press @.
To show or hide more channels, repeat steps 1 and 2.
7,_ Channels that you set to be hidden can be accessed only with the 0-9 buttons
_,_ Ifyou select to hide or show a major digital channel, all the subchannels are
automatically hidden or shown. To show or hide an individual sub-channel
within a digital channel, you must individually select that sub-channel to show
or hide.
¢% If you hide all sub-channels of a
major digital
channel, that
digital
channel is
automatically
set to Hidden.
Label Channels
Allows you to assign labels (such as station call letters, to chanuel numbers.
1 Press 14,1, to scroll through the channel numbers. Then press @ to select the chanuel
uumber that you want to assign a label.
2 Press tl./!l, to scroll through the label characters (A-Z. 0-9, etc.). Press @ to move to
the uext character. Repeat to add up to 7 characters to the label.
To assign labels to more channels, repeat steps 1 and 2.
Diagnostics Display diagnostics information about the current channel and TV. This cau be useful in
providing information to an authorized techniciau or repair person.
