•In any mode with the e xception of V OICE
RECORDING mode, you c an check the r ecording
status in the L CD monitor.
•Idle mode :If y ou s elect the [ SAVE MODE] and the
camera isn't operated during the
specified time(about 30 SEC.), the
camera power will be idle (LCD monitor
:OFF, Camera status lamp :Blinking) automatically.
-To use the c amera again, press any of t he c amera buttons except the p ower
button.
-Ifthere is no operation during the s pecified time, the c amera power will be
turned off a utomatically to save battery life. Refer to page 50 for m ore
information about the a uto power off function.

• tf the memory card is inserted in the camera, all the camera functions apply only
to the memory card.
• tf the memory card is not inserted in the camera, all the camera functions apply
only to the internal memory.
• tf you have turned on the camera by pressingthe POWER button, you can press
the PLAY MODE button once to switch to Play mode and press it again to switch
to Recording mode.
• You can turn the power on with the play mode button. The camera is turned on in
play mode. Press the play mode button again to switch to shooting mode.
• You can set up the PLAY mode function by using the camera buttons and LCD
monitor.
• Playing back a stillimage
1. Select the PLAY mode by pressingthe play
mode button ( _ ).
2. The last image stored on the memory is
displayed on the LCD monitor.
3. Select an image that you wantto play back by
pressing the LEFT/RIGHT button.
st Press and hold the Leftor Right buttonto fast
forward the images played.
