Troubleshooting Tables
What is Happening What to Do
No picture, no sound, but monitor is oil • Maybe tile cable/air function is set to the wrong position
• The channel or input might be blank change channels or inputs,
• If you're watching your VCR mid it's connected with coaxial cable to
the CABLE/ANTENNA jack, tune tbe monitoT to channel 3 or 4
(whichever channel is selected on the 3/4 switch on the back of your
VCR) Also check to make sure the TV/VCR button on the VCR is in
the correct mode (press tbe TV/VCR button on your VCR)

your renlote), select Parental Control, select Lock Parental Controls

receiver provides parental controls f_t the DishDVl input. See the
User's Guide *hat came with your satellite receiver.
Password lost or tPrgotten • If you fbrget your password, press MENU, then select Parental Con-
trol (the password entry screen appears). Sinmltaneously press and
hold CH- and VOL+ on the monitor's fiont panel for 3 seconds The
Parental control nlenl_ appears on [tie screen, and you can re-enter a
password via Lock Parental Controls
V-Chlp blocks non-violent progt ares. • Maybe tbe movie was given an NR (Not Rated) status. After you block
nlovle ratings, you nmst set N R to View separately in order to view
nlovles with an NR rating
